I received my bachelor’s degree in Information Assurance and forensics after graduating the Summer Semester of 2007. My main purpose and focus is a technology-intensive application-focused baccalaureate degree, which prepared me to protect computers, computer systems, and networks from threats, such as hackers, viruses and worms, and to investigate illicit cyber activities using state of the art computer forensics technologies.

The Information Technologies Division's Information Assurance and Forensics coursework has been certified by the National Security Agency's Information Assurance Course ware Evaluation (IACE) Review Committee as addressing 100% of the national standards for certificates 4011 (Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professionals), 4012 (Designated Approving Authorities) and 4013 (System Administrators). Students completing the appropriate information assurance and forensics coursework with a "C" or higher will automatically receive the following certificates.
